Yard sales, flea markets, and junk yards; these are the places that you should look for in searching for cheap computer parts. This is a mecca for technicians for its cheap parts, like a bios chip on motherboards which cost more like the whole board but in the places above mentioned could only cost up to $5 only.
Most of the time, this is the only options you have if you're really looking for part replacements for old machines, next to looking in at museums.
