    Name of your website?

    SandS Computers

    Your name?

    Steve Watson

    Your Location (city, etc)

    El Campello, Alicante

Please give us a short summary of your website?

An introduction to us, what we stand for and what services we try to provide. The website itself is seen as a service so includes lots of links and information about computers and computer as well as more personal stuff about us.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

It is a computer shop, it is almost compulsory really.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

    April 2006

How did you decide on a name for your website?

It is the name of our company

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

It is about our shop and services. It also takes a more human approach with no technobabble.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To provide information for out customers. To raise income by selling products online.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

It is dificult to measure success. We have had several thousand hits but cannot say that any of them have resulted in a sale in the shop.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

We would incorporate webmail and online sales.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

It will not as I cannot afford large amounts of time to its' development.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

    None

What has been your biggest challenge?

Keeping the site up to date

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Local advertising and havin gthe site as home page on our machines in the internet cafe.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It iks more demanding of my time than I thought.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

I have run it since I opened the shop and will continue with the site whilst he company exists.

    What is your website address?

    SandS Computers
