Has the gaming industry really reached its apex during the 1990's? I do not know for sure, but the industry certainly needs a lot of boost as April software sales sunk by 23 percent to $511 million.
This led the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) to become lax with admission policies in the E3 2009, after a dismal performance in 2008, which only saw 5,000 attendees (compared to 70,000 attendees of 2005).
Was the E3 able to resuscitate the industry? Probably not.
