Just about twenty, out of a percentage of fifty four of the Information Technology executives that had been surveyed by CIO.com, had been documenting their progress over the course of the time period of their "goal to green" objective.
A baseline is always extremely critical to any successful IT operations even prior to the implementation of the going green program.
The weird thing is that not many organizations conduct baselines and use metrics in order to set attainable goals, or at least, not really as much as they should be.
