Talk about adding insult to the injury. After sacking thousands of employees from its pool of laborers, Microsoft sent out more than a thousand letters asking these employees to surrender the overpayment they had given for their separation pay.
Of course most, if not all, of the employees refused to do so, which resulted in Microsoft allowing them to keep the money.
