Microsoft, for all its bad reputation among a lot of geeks, is still the market leader due to its dominating performance especially in the business sector. It has more than enough money to weather the financial crisis and make an impact while all the others are pulling their funds.
It's all a matter of doing what is appropriate if it wants to get better this year.
